How the School is Funded
The project is principally funded by donations from individual sponsors and institutions who have shown a keen interest in helping to establish this new school in Malawi.
We are very keen to make the school self sustaining and not be dependent upon donations, however in the first few years of the project donations from well wishers will be essential to its success. We have a Board of Trustees who monitor the progress and development of the school, they have a strong background in the education system of Malawi, two are education advisors.
If you would like to contribute towards the funding of the project contact Wishart Malinga or Mark Redhall at the following email addresses; wishart.malinga@tiscali.co.uk mark.redhall@me.com who are closely involved with this project and can provide you with further information.
So far we have received and (continue to do so) donations of books, computer equipment and other essential items needed to establish the school.
We would particularly like to thank:
City of York Library service and Dublin City University for their generous donation of books.
Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority schools and other educational establishments for their generous donations of computer equipment and books. Our thanks go to;
The Village Primary School and Mrs Patricia Gibb the Head Teacher.
Bowesfield Primary School and Mrs Emily Hodgeon the Head Teacher.
Stockton City Learning Centre and Mr Steve Kirby the manager.
Wrensfield House and Ian Edmunds manager of Specialist Learning Support and P Ed Psych.
