The school still has the onging water problems that I definitely have no solution to. However, three organisations are trying to help us in this but still more help from others is very welcome so that we get this over and done away with. I must admit it is a big bother for me and the students. Just imagine boys and girls at school going to
draw water some 500 yards away instead of concentrating on their studies.
Ive added some pictures to the gallery that show the failed bore hole and the type of bore hole we need which is expensive but long lasting costing around £4,000 and can supply water to wider community. More info and pictures.
The Year 7s at Joseph Rowntree school raised money to assist at the school and local community. One of their projects was the goats. 4 villages are benefiting from this programme by identifying a family in each village and supplying it with two goats. It is hoped that after
six months, the goats will have kids which would then be passed onto another family in the same village as identified by the committee within that village.
See more pictures from the initial beneficialies in the four villages in the gallery.
